  1. Topiaries in the Garden

From now through June 30th, your family can enjoy 12 amazing topiaries at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden! Shaped like animal and insects, with tons of unique colors and textures, this is a great way to spend an afternoon! The garden is over 100 acres, and also features a rose garden, reflection pond, and a Japanese Garden with pagoda and koi fish! The topiaries exhibit is free with admission.   1. Ennis Bluebonnet Trails Festival

In downtown Ennis, TX, you and your family can take in the Bluebonnet Trails Festival from Friday, April 16th through the 18th. There will be arts and crafts, food trucks, kids’ activities, and plenty of shopping with Bluebonnet themed items. Pictures can be taken on the 40-miles of trails featuring the Texas state flower.   1. Tiger Tuesdays

On Tiger Tuesdays at the Dallas Zoo, admission is only $8! This happens on the first Tuesday of every month, and the zoo will be open from 9am until 5pm on these days.
