Anna Seo DDS, MSc

Dr. Anna H. Seo is a board-certified pediatric dentist and an adjunct Assistant Professor for the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Baylor College of Dentistry.

Dr. Seo was born in Seoul, Korea, and grew up in West Bloomfield, MI. She went to college at the University of Michigan, double majoring in biology and Japanese studies. Upon graduating with her dental degree at the University of Michigan School Of Dentistry, she completed a general practice residency in the Catholic Medical Center in New York City.

She married and moved to Toronto, Canada, where she completed a pediatric dental training and the Master of Science degree at the University of Toronto. She worked as an associate pediatric dentist for private practices and as a clinical faculty member, teaching at the University Of Toronto Faculty Of Dentistry and Texas A&M College of Dentistry.

Her family then moved to Tampa, FL, where she worked as an associate pediatric dentist and had an appointment at the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry.  Dr. Seo had a solo pediatric dental practice in Wesley Chapel, FL, before moving to Dallas, TX.

Dr. Seo is a member of the College of Diplomats of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and a Fellow member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Other memberships include:

  • American Dental Association

Mikael Garces, DDS

Dr. Garces was born and raised in South Texas on the outskirts of town on her grandfather’s farm. They raised goats, cows, and enjoyed countless Texas sunsets. Her upbringing has been the framework of her personal and professional career. One of her greatest challenges was moving halfway across the state to pursue her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University at College Station (Whoop!). She loved her time there and found a home away from home with her Aggie family. Many of those friendships continued on to Baylor College of Dentistry where she completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

After receiving her doctorate, she went on to serve with the National Health Service Corps in a community health clinic in rural Colorado. This is where she found her true calling and passion–working with kiddos! Following her commitment, she returned to Dallas to complete her pediatric dental residency at Children’s Medical Center Dallas, Texas Scottish Rite, and Texas A&M College of Dentistry where she received extensive training in special health care needs and comprehensive dental care under both general anesthesia and oral sedation.

As a pediatric dentist, she enjoys being able to experience the world through her patient’s eyes. In doing so, she’s able to connect with them on a level that they feel seen, heard, and safe to have all their dental needs met. She strives to foster relationships with her patients so they can together build a solid foundation for a lifetime of dental health.

She is an active member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Greater Dallas Pediatric Dental Society, and Dallas County Dental Society. I am currently pursuing board certification with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

When she’s not in the office, you can find her exploring the world (she’s been to 30 countries and counting!), trying out new restaurants, following Formula 1, or taking her sweet rescue pups Molly & Tanner on long walks in her neighborhood
