Socially-Distant Community Events In Dallas

Each Friday we take a little break from our usual oral health topics to focus on our community. In light of the pandemic continuing to pose a danger to our community, we are recommending events that can be enjoyed either virtually or socially distant in Dallas, TX. 1. Holiday Adventure With Santa

The Holiday Adventure With Santa takes place from today through December 25^th. This event is virtual, and happens at 5pm eastern time and features a 30-minute adventure in which elf camp counselors guide your kids on a journey across the North Pole. 2. Espresso Nutcracker

The Dallas Black Dance Academy will be performing a virtual new interpretation of The Nutcracker using jazz score inspired by Duke Ellington. The performance is $40 per household, with group rates available. The performance takes place on Saturday, December 12^th at 7pm. 3. Virtual Holiday Concert

Astraios Chamber Music will be performing a Virtual Holiday Concert that starts on Saturday, December 12^th and is available through the 31^st. The performance will feature traditional Christmas carols, old classics, and new favorites. The video us available on their YouTube channel every day through the rest of December. 4. Jingle Bell Run

The 2020 Generational Group Dallas Jingle Bell Run will take place on Thursday, December 17^th from 6:30pm until 9:30pm. The run raises funds to support the Dallas Mavs Foundation and the Trinity Strand Trail. Anyone can participate in this run for their own neighborhood, as they’re taking a virtual approach in light of the pandemic.
