4 Virtual Events For Dallas Families

Friday has arrived! Which means now it’s time to take a break from our usual oral health topics to look at community events. In today’s blog, your Dallas, TX, pediatric dentist will look at four fun events that can enjoyed virtually or safely via social distancing. Remember, you should also schedule your child’s last checkup and cleaning of 2020 before the holidays become too hectic!

  1. Santa Story Time

The Santa Storytime Series will take place every Friday from 10am until 11am virtually. Your kids can watch the big man himself read a different children’s book every week between now and Christmas day, and this event is appropriate for little ones of all ages.   1. Virtual Holiday Concert

The Women’s Chorus of Dallas will be offering a virtual holiday concert for everyone to enjoy from the safety of their own home. The show is 45 minutes long and features live recordings of their choir, and fun engaging visuals as well. The live premiere will be online on December 19th at 7:30pm, and you will be able to watch it any time through December 21st. Admission is free, or you can donate to raise money for local charities. If you register before December 7th, you can also upgrade and receive a Comfort and Cheer Crate that you can send to your family or someone special!   1. Movies in the Park

You and your family can enjoy free outdoor movies screened on the lawn of Klyde Warren Park! The next movie night is December 19th, and the film will start at 5:30pm. They will be screening the modern family classic Elf, starring Will Ferrell. You can always find more details by following this link.

  1. Dinosaurs Live

The Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary will be hosting Dinosaurs Live from now through February. You and your family can stroll along a path behind the sanctuary, and see life-sized animatronic dinosaurs up close! Learn more here.
