3 Virtual (and Socially Distant) Community Holiday Events

While the pandemic means that attending the usual holiday events may not be a safe idea, that doesn’t mean there aren’t fun events for your family to enjoy. In today’s blog, your Dallas, TX, pediatric dentist will look at three fun community events that can be enjoyed either virtually or socially distant. In addition, don’t forget to schedule a visit for your child before 2020 comes to an end!

  1. Santa Storytime:

Every Friday from now through December 25th your family can enjoy a fun story time with Santa Claus himself. The next one is tomorrow at 10am, with one more next Friday on Christmas day. Each story time lasts from 10am until 11am. Brought to you by Brown Books Publishing Group, each event features a new holiday story to enjoy, and is open for everyone to view virtually!   1. Love and Joy:

The Women’s Chorus of Dallas will be presenting Love and Joy! A Virtual Holiday Concert. You can watch the concert live tomorrow from 7:30pm until 8:30pm. The show will then be available to watch anytime on their YouTube page until December 21st. The show is 45-minutes of classic and modern holiday songs, with fun visuals.   1. Drive-In Christmas:

You can attend a socially distant Drive-In Christmas double feature and toy drive at One Arts Plaza on Friday, December 18th from 6pm until 11pm. The films being screened will be the 2000 livre-action How the Grinch Stole Christmas and the family classic Home Alone. The first movie starts at 6:30pm and there will be an intermission in between. There will be food trucks on hand, as well as tree to take pictures in front of for you family photo-op. Admission is one new and unwrapped toy, which will be donated to families in need. A great way to enjoy the movies in a safe manner, and support a great cause too. To learn more, just follow the link.
