When and Where Is the Origins Exhibit?

The Origins: Fossils from the Cradle of Humankind exhibit is being hosted at the Perot Museum, located at 2201 N. Field St. in Dallas, from now until March 22nd.

What Is the Origins Exhibit?

The Origins exhibit is a limited-run exhibit hosting the fossils of two ancient human relatives, Australopithecus sediba and Homo naledi. This exhibit will mark the first time that ancient hominin fossils have traveled for public display since 2013. The fossils were discovered recently, in 2008 and 2013, and led to a new understanding of the nuanced process of human evolution. The exhibit will be open during regular museum hours, and tickets to the exhibit include admission to the rest of the museum. Seeing these fossils may be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, as they are unlikely to travel here again, and it is sure to be an educational experience for the whole family.
