Oral Health Tips
Of course, you are at the receiving end of our dental care team’s helpful oral health tips that can make a big difference when you’re doing your best to avoid the cold and flu. Keep the following in mind throughout this time of year, so you don’t have to remain in a constant state of concern:
- Don’t let kids share toothbrushes or dental hygiene products (this makes it too easy to share germs)
- Don’t share your own brush with your spouse or kids for the same reason
- Have everyone wash their hands before dental hygiene sessions to avoid ingesting germs carried on fingertips
- Give everyone their own toothbrush holder or cup, so there’s no transfer of germs from brush to brush
