Celebrate Independence At The Arboretum
On July 1st in Dallas, TX, check out the Red, White & the Blues event taking place during July 4th weekend at the Dallas Arboretum. Happening from July 1st until July 4th, 11am-2pm, you should pack a picnic, gather the whole family, and celebrate Independence Day surrounded by the beautiful scenery only the Dallas Arboretum can provide. Various blues bands will perform throughout the weekend to provide a cool, relaxing backdrop. $2 hotdogs and root beer floats will be available for purchase all four days.
Great Sights And Sounds
The Arboretum offers free admission all four days for retired and active duty military members, veterans of the U.S. military, and first responders with a valid photo I.D. The schedule of events is as follows:
- July 1: Linny Nance Network
- July 2: Buddy Whittington Band
- July 3: Linny Nance Network
- July 4: Rob Holbert Group, Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden will be at the Craft Corner. The Stars and Stripes will be performing from 9-11am at the Main Garden. At the Entry Plaza, stop by the Craft Corner table and create a fun, patriotic craft using the colors of the American flag. Storytime with Eddie the Eagle at 10am, First Adventure Fruit Tastings: Red, White and Fruit at 12pm & 2pm.
