Enjoy High Kicking Fun with Dallas Summer Musicals
With the kids home from school, are you already concerned about the stir crazy that will set in after a few weeks of their newly wide open schedules? Are you looking for innovative ways to start filling that newly discovered free time? Sure, soaking in the pool is fun, and trips to the park are a great way to pass some time. But if you want a little culture and entertainment that is out of the usual sandbox, and perhaps more importantly well air-conditioned, you won’t want to miss the 2016 season of Dallas Summer Musicals, a time-honored tradition throughout the Metroplex!
Take the Kids to This Year’s Most Family-Friendly Show Off Broadway
Dallas Summer Musicals is a non-profit organization that helps to bring the song and dance of Broadway much closer to home. It hosts a variety of musicals throughout the year, but also sponsors kids-only programs and helps support local high school theater programs as well.
This summer’s kid-friendly entertainment includes 42nd Street, which is a tribute to Broadway itself. It follows the story of Peggy Sawyer who arrives in New York with dreams of becoming the next Broadway Star, and is filled with energetic dance numbers. To learn more about the show, order tickets, or to review other upcoming events, visit www.dallassummermusicals.org. DSM is hosted at Music Hall at Fair Park, which is located at 909 First Avenue, Dallas, TX 75210.
