Fortunately, you can achieve your dream by heading just a bit out of Dallas for the afternoon and evening to enjoy some family-friendly fun.
What Is The Event?
This is the North Texas Fair and Rodeo, which will include nine days of fun! You can expect the following:
- Yummy fair food like funnel cake (remember to brush your teeth!)
- Live music
- Rides
- Games
- Horse and livestock shows

When Is The Event Happening?
You may attend this event from August 21, 2015 through August 29, 2015 at the following times:
- Fridays: 6pm to 1am
- Saturdays: 1pm to 1am
- Sundays: 1pm to 11pm
- Monday through Thursday: 6pm to 12am
How Much Does Admission Cost?
Admission varies according to the following (check the website for further details):
- Adults: $15 per person
- Children 7 to 12 years old: $5 per person
- Children 6 years old and younger: Free
- Parking: $5
