Friday has arrived! Who is ready for a nice weekend break? Each Friday, your Dallas, TX, pediatric dentist likes to take a break from our usual dental topics to look at fun events happening in our community. From holiday light displays to trains, there is plenty for you and your family to see in Dallas, TX, this weekend!

  1. Trains at NorthPark

You and your family can visit The Trains at NorthPark from now through the end of the year at 8687 North Central Expressway. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for kids ages 2 to 12, and seniors 65 and older. Kids two and under are free! These incredible model train displays have helped raise millions for the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. Featuring 750 railcars on 1,600 feet of tracks, with displays set in different parts of the United States. There are even train cars for sale, with proceeds supporting the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. A fun and unique holiday event for the entire family to enjoy!

  1. Vitruvian Holiday Lights

You can enjoy the annual Vitruvian Park Lights from now through the end of the year at 3966 Vitruvian Way in Addison, TX. Admission is free, and parking is $15. This is open to all ages, and this will be the 10th year of the event! This features over 1.5 million lights on over 555 trees. You can walk or drive through the display. This Saturday, from 6pm until 10pm guests can hear the Dallas String Quartet, and there will be food trucks, holiday treats, free photos with Santa Claus, a live reindeer, a chance to write letters to Santa, an elf balloon artist, and more!

  1. Enchant Christmas

Enchant is the world’s largest holiday light event! This will take place now through the end of December at 1438 Coliseum in Dallas, TX. This is open to all ages, with admission of $34 for adults, $29 for seniors, and $20 for kids ages 3 to 17. Kids two and under are free. You can also purchase tickets for ice skating! Located at Fair Park, this will encompass over ten acres and feature incredibly detailed light displays, as well as ice skating trails, live shows, Santa Claus visits, and a marketplace to buy festive gifts and more. There is even a 100-foot-tall holiday tree! Sponsored by the Hallmark Channel, there will also be a Hall Cozy Christmas lounge, photo ops, a wind tasting, and a drawing to win a set visit for a Hallmark movie.
