dallas kids dentistry

At our office, Dr. Marr and our team strive to offer the latest care and most advanced technologies to help kids of all ages. To see what advances are now available to help kids, Dr. Marr recently attended the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry convention in Las Vegas! In today’s blog, the team at Pediatric Dental Care at Casa Linda talks about how we help kids in Dallas, TX.

Dr. Marr and the AAPD

Dr. Marr was excited to attend the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry’s convention in Las Vegas this weekend! The Bright Lights, Big Smiles convention was held at the Cesar’s Forum Convention Center from May 21st through the 24th. There, she had the opportunity to meet with tons of other pediatric dental professionals across the field, and talk about ways to better care for their little patients and offer improved smiles. She attended courses and presentations about the latest treatment advances and technologies too. These events are about more than just getting out of the office for a few days, they are a chance to help improve how she treats kids of all ages, bringing home new information about caring for the little ones in our community.

Our Use of Advanced Technology

When Dr. Marr attends events like these, she can discover new options to help smiles. For example, we have always been ready to implement the latest advances in pediatric dentistry. For our diagnoses, we will use digital imaging for exams that are far more precise and detailed than they would be with a simple visual exam or an old school dental x-ray. We can add new materials to repair damage and address decay, such as NuSmile zirconia for crowns. Our team has even added laser dentistry to our array of treatment options, which can help take on an array of serious concerns with precision and comfort, rarely requiring anesthesia and providing shot-free dental fillings too!

Schedule a Visit Now!

Now that summer break has arrived, children of all ages need to see the dentist for their next checkup and cleaning. A visit now means the next one will happen during winter break, no need to worry about missing school and falling behind. We can also help children and adults learn new ones to better protect smiles from tooth decay during summer break, a time for snacking and lapsed oral hygiene routines for all ages. If you have any questions, then contact our team today to learn more and schedule your next visit to our office.
