Socially Distant Family Halloween Events

Halloween is around the corner, and with trick or treating up in the air, many families will be struggling to find something fun to do instead. Fortunately, each week we take time to cover fun events happening in our community! In today’s blog, your Dallas, TX, pediatric dentist is taking a break from our usual dental topics to cover four upcoming area events that offer a socially-distant or virtual spooky time for families!

  1. Tunnel of Terror:

From October 24th through the 30th, you and your family enjoy a terrifying visit through a haunted carwash! There will be a live DJ, free candy for children, a costume contest, and no limits on the number of passengers in your vehicle. You enjoy frights and still practice safe social distancing. The October 24th event takes place at the carwash on 4173 Main Street in The Colony, and the 25th the haunted tour is at 2301 South I-35 in Round Rock. There is one in Dallas on 17931 Presto Road on the 29th, and another in Frisco on 4677 Preston Road in Frisco. The event is from 8pm until 11pm each evening.

  1. Halloween Celebration:

You and your family can enjoy another social distant Halloween event with Halloween Celebration on October 24th at The Shops at Highland Village on 1701 Shoal Creek. Tickets are one per child, with up to two adults accompanying them. There will costumed characters to see, photo opportunities, safe bags of candy and treats, and a live DJ playing spooky music!

  1. Corn Maze:

JM2 Farms is hosting a spooky and fun Corn Maze on 468 Matthews Road in Venus, TX. Being outdoors, this makes practicing social distance much easier. There will be mazes, games, food, carriage rides, and more. The maze itself is five acres! The event is open on Friday and Saturday throughout October.

  1. Spooktacular Halloween Social:

The Dallas Society of Woman Engineers is hosting a virtual spooky party on Tuesday, October 27th from 6:30pm until 8pm. The event features pumpkin carving contests, costume contests, dancing, prizes, and more! This is a fun event for the whole family to enjoy from the safety of their homes!
