4 Virtual Events Your Kids Will Enjoy

Once again, we’re going to use our Friday blog to focus on fun virtual events you and your children can enjoy from the comfort and safety of your own home! From museum exhibits to unique educational opportunities, there is plenty here for kids of all ages to enjoy. We would also like to remind our Dallas, TX, families that now is a great time to schedule a visit for a checkup and cleaning, since the hectic holiday season is still at least a month a way!

  1. State Fair of Texas Curriculum

While the State Fair of Texas may be limited this year, they are still offering some fun educational courses for your kids to enjoy online. The curriculum will be available between now and October 25th here. There will be STEM courses for kids in grades 4 through 12, including a special lesson on Texas Civil Rights hero Juanita Craft! Resources can be downloaded by grade.

  1. The Booth Museum

If your family enjoys all things Wild West related, then you will enjoy the Booth Western Art Museum. Located in Georgia, the entire collection is available online for your family to view! There are permanent and temporary exhibit tours, as well as special videos and virtual programs for kids and adults alike. Learn more by visiting this link.   1. The Maritime Aquarium

Do your kids love animals? Then they can get up close and personal with a variety of marine animals at The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk. There are plenty of activities and programs available during the week for your kids to see, so there is always something new! For example, today from 11am until noon there will be an interactive story time called Fish Tales. On Saturdays, there will be a program about seals from 4pm until 5pm, not to mention special events online for Boy Scouts on October 17th, and Girl Scouts on October 18th!

  1. National Air and Space Museum

The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum is an amazing destination, and one you and your family can enjoy from home! The Washington DC museum will have its collection available to view online, along with special videos on the history of planes, space flight, and more! Simply visit this website to learn more.
