However, if you have little kids heading into the bathroom with potential access to products like toothpaste and mouthwash and more, this can become dangerous territory. Baby Proof The Cabinets

If you’re someone who feels good about baby proofing, then remember to baby proof the bathroom, too. Remember that though something seems completely innocuous to you, it might not be that way for a young child. Proof all cabinets, drawers, etc. that contain anything your child may consume, try to swallow, and the list goes on. Since your son or daughter doesn’t need access to dental care items when you’re not around, it’s best to keep them all locked away.

Keep Products Up High

Perhaps you’re not on board with the idea of having to baby proof your home with latches and such. If this is the case, simply remember to place items out of reach, so little kids are less likely to find them or to be able to access them. Place them up high where you can easily see and grab them but where kids cannot.

Always Put Everything Away

Don’t forget to put dental care items away after use. For example, let’s say you forget about the toothpaste and leave it out. Believe it or not, your child just might find it appetizing enough to eat (which can be dangerous).
