Have you been to the Texas State Fair? We have, and we have an amazing time! There is still plenty of time to stop by, and so much to see. A Fun Day at The Texas State Fair
The Texas State Fair is happening now at Fair Park, and you and your family can enjoy a visit from now through October 18th. You and your family enjoy over 100 free attractions, dozens of midway rides, and tons of family-friendly activities. You can stop by Sunday through Thursday from 10am until 9pm, and Friday and Saturday from 10am until 10pm. Our entire team went recently and we all had the most amazing time. You can’t call yourself a Texas and miss the chance to visit Big Tex in person!
New Foods (and Eating Healthy-ish)
One thing people really look forward to about the fair is the food. Every year, there are a ton of unique flavors, all drenched with sugar and starch. While these are delicious, and believe us we tried plenty of them, they could also pose a risk to your smile. Yes, you should try 3D fruit ice cream, the All Shook Up shake, or the candy watermelon, but also think about your smile. Consider enjoying a glass of water afterward. You stay hydrated (it’s still hot out there, y’all) and you help rinse away the sugars and starches from your Butter-Dipped Toffee Crunch Nutty Bar or your Deep Fried Bourbon Banana Bread. When you get home, make sure you brush and floss before bed!
