Your 2018 Dental Care Review: How Did You Do?

Well. Here we are! Though it may seem to you as much as it does to our Dallas, TX team that we were just welcoming in 2018, it has flown by! While we are certain that 2019 holds some lovely and wonderful things, we would also love to take a moment to reflect on the year that we are still enjoying. You may have already seen this coming, of course, but we do like to run through a quick review of oral health related habits and such when a year is coming to a close as a form of motivation to the year that approaches! So, we ask: How did you do? Is it strictly time to give yourself a pat on the back, or do you need to tighten up your habits just a bit in the new year? Let’s get started.

Checkups And Cleanings: Did You See Us Twice?

As you may already realize, reviewing the oral health care your little once enjoyed throughout 2018 is going to be easy! For the most part, it’s simply about answering yes-or-no questions regarding requirements. To begin, we ask, did you see us twice for preventive care visits? If so, wonderful! If not, remember to do so in 2019!

Additional Visits: Did You Come In?

Was there anything that your child’s oral health needed over the course of the year that was outside of the usual preventive care? Perhaps we suggested a dental filling or some other restorative treatment. If so, and you followed through, then kudos! If not, there’s still just a little time left, so give us a call!

Brushing: Did You Follow The Suggestions?

Did you ensure that your child was following our suggestions for the brushing portion of daily dental hygiene? It’s just twice-a-day brushing, two minutes each time, and it’s so effective!

Flossing: Did It Happen Every Day?

Yes, you knew this was next: Did your child floss daily? If not, get started today! If so, we suggest you continue on with this habit throughout 2019 and beyond, so your child enjoys oral health that remains in exceptional shape for life!
